PORTFOLIO
This page contains bits and pieces of different things of artistic value which I have created throughout the years. You can find some images that I have created further down on the left side of the page.
You can also listen to music that I have created by operating the players to the left.
Everything I have on this page is created entirely by me unless stated otherwise.
The "Summer of 2008 Project"
This project was performed on all instruments by me and recorded and mixed by me in a rehearsal room in some basement in Gävle, Sweden. This project really gave me a lot of experience in recording since it was my very first recording project. Since then, I have gained interest and skill in this area and I am eager to develop it all further! You can listen to the project through the music player to the left, or you can download it right here.
Building Generator for Maya
In my last year at university, I decided to find a method to create buildings through automation for my thesis project, even though my programming knowledge was/is very basic. We were using Maya at the university so I had to choose between MEL or Python for the script language. I decided to work in Python and as expected I encountered a hailstorm of problems which was very frustrating at times. But every time I solved these problems, I was filled with a nice rewarding sensation which kept me going and going until I had something that worked. The script is not finished but the basics are there and it does create buildings... check it out.
"Showreel" for 2008
This is a collection of some of the stuff I have done throughout the years. This video - or "showreel" if you will - was made at school about half a year before graduation (late 2008). I have not updated it since then but when I do, it will be uploaded here. Until then, you can check it out below. I would also like to thank Baron Bane for letting me use their music in the video, check them out, they are amazing!
My part in a music video
I created the background set for Scar Symmetry's "Ascension Chamber" video. I modeled it in 3D and added various objects to the
landscape to make it look a bit more interesting. There were a whole bunch of revisions and different versions of the set until we
(me and the director Ronny Hemlin) settled for this version. It was a fun experience and it feels nice to watch the end product.
Note that I only created the background/set, I have not done the editing/directing/filming of the video. You can check it out below
