Around 600 free cymbal samples
During the summer of 2008, I recorded a lot of cymbals in my rehearsal room. I recorded them using an AKG Perception 100 which I
borrowed from a friend, into the preamps of a Mackie VLZ1402 mixer and then into an M-Audio Delta1010LT. Perhaps not the most expensive
recording chain but that was what I had back then (moved up to an M-Audio Profire2626 now, yippi!). Anyway, I edited the samples and
chopped them up and ended up with around 600 different cymbal samples and now I am sharing them with everyone. Click the link to the

My Summer 08 Music Project
This is an experimental instrumental project I recorded during the summer of 2008. I had just gotten into this whole recording jungle and I also
wanted to experiment musically so I had a great opportunity to write experimental songs and get a hands-on experience with recording.
I played all the instruments myself with the exception of a couple of guitar solos done by Jonathan Nyman. I also programmed the synths
and stuff like that. Of course I also edited/mixed and all that and now it's uploaded and shared with the rest of the world!
JM Epic Drum Sample Library Vol. 1
User "TheWinterSnow" over at the Andy Sneap forum
has compiled a drum kit library from free samples he has found on the net over a period of 2 years. This is a really nice thing to do
and I have hosted the samples on my site with his permission. You can read more about this from "TheWinterSnow" himself
